Rockhills Christmas Collective // Jan Hassler

One Christmas I was recovering from a knee replacement surgery. That is a long and arduous recovery. All my Christmas decorations are upstairs and in an attic space.

While physically I could not decorate for Christmas, mentally and emotionally I really wanted to. We were having not only family coming to visit, but also a few Rockhills events at our home that year. My husband would have been willing to help, but it will never be his favorite thing to do!

Up steps a friend who I don’t get to see very often as she lives across town. She used to own an event planning company, so loves to arrange and decorate. She jumped in and INSISTED she come decorate my house for Christmas! My husband did all the heavy lifting and she did everything else.

Thank you Lord for angels who show up when we need - or want - them to the most!
