Rockhills Christmas Collective // Lucrectia Strait

As a child, I remember there was a rule that we could open one present Christmas Eve, night. My brothers had a technique where they would shake the boxes to find out what was the heaviest and deemed that as the best gift and would open that one first.

On Christmas Day, we would gather around the Christmas tree and Mom and Dad would initiate reading the story in the bible about the wisemen coming to visit Jesus and the passage about the birth of Christ.

Isaiah 9:6-For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
