Rockhills Christmas Collective // Tiffany Harris

Our family adopted a wonderful, Christmas-loving boy in 2016. Nate’s first Christmas home with us was so special. He loved helping decorate the Christmas tree. He could sing “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” and “Silent Night” in both English and Mandarin. Nate explained to us that at the home where he and other blind and visually impaired boys lived, on Christmas Eve they would put an apple in a bag, sing Silent Night, and then place it under their bed. Then they’d eat it on Christmas morning. So we have continued that tradition each Christmas Eve.
